March 1875: Report by many news papers, that HOFZINSER dies after being 6 weeks ill, funeral at the Vienna Central Cemetery, Group 4, Row 2, Tomb 16 The obituary of Hofzinser which was found recently shows clearly that the master magician did not receive any doctor title or died from a long term illness as Ottokar Fischer claimed and reported alway. He died after suffering a short and painful disease.
